Aleksander Plusnin

Aleksander Plusnin (1981) – has graduated contemporary art institute “BAZA”, actively takes part in projects and exhibitions which happen on the leading platforms, in museums and biennales of contemporary art (Moscow Museum of Modern Art, Moscow, 2019; Tashkent Biennale of Contemporary art, 2018; Ikuo Hirayama International Caravanserai of Culture, Tashkent; Special project of the 12th Krasnoyarsk museum biennale 2017, Museum Centre «Ploschad’ Mira», Krasnoyarsk; Vl Moscow biennale of contemporary art, 2015, Allrussian museum of decorative and folk art; lX Shanghai biennale of contemporary art, 2012). Plusnin has also curated “Made on Earth” exhibition in Bashmet-center in July 2019, group exhibition “Sphere” as a part of a parallel programme of the VI Moscow International biennale for young art in 2018, and Geliogabal-project as a part of a parallel programme of the V Moscow International Biennale for Young Art in 2016. Lives and works in Moscow.
